For developers and construction companies, the guarantee of starting a new apartment block, business centre or industrial facility on time is accurate and fast preparation of the foundation pit. Excavating to a specific design level is a crucial engineering stage, where even a millimetre of error can change the structural calculations for the entire foundation.

Deconstruct carries out the final phase of construction site preparation – comprehensive excavation, adherence to engineering levels and formation of foundation pits to the highest standards.

Earthworks to design level: what matters for developers

Preparing the foundations of large-scale builds requires highly qualified operators and precise survey control. Our service includes:

1. Precise engineered excavation (forming the pit)

In line with the architectural and structural design, our heavy and medium-class excavators dig to a strictly defined depth. Constant monitoring with surveying instruments (levels, total stations) rules out over- or under-excavation.

2. Rapid removal of surplus soil

Excavating a pit produces thousands of cubic metres of surplus earth and rock. Deconstruct provides continuous logistics with heavy dump trucks so that excavated soil is removed immediately, without overloading the site or holding up the process.

3. Slope stabilisation and safety

When preparing deep pits, the stability of the earth walls (slopes) is critical to prevent the ground from collapsing. Our engineering team selects the correct slope angle or, where necessary, provides temporary shoring.

Why is Deconstruct a reliable partner for construction companies?

  • Strict time management: we know that for developers every lost day means financial loss. We complete the work within the agreed deadlines.
  • Our own heavy fleet: modern, well-maintained excavators and trucks keep the work going even in force-majeure situations.
  • An engineering approach: we are not just “diggers” – we are an engineering company that reads drawings and understands how critical foundation preparation is.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

What happens if rock or groundwater is found while digging the pit?

In that case hydraulic breakers are brought in to break up the rock, and where there is water we install special drainage pumps to pump it out continuously.

Is surveying included in the pit preparation service?

Yes, the Deconstruct team itself controls the levels in accordance with the design, so that the construction site is fully ready for the foundation works to come.
